Basil Babe is a mother-and-daughter ran dumpling shop. Collaborating with the founder, Thai, I was able to take her initial ideas and expand on them, creating a memorable brand identity and an intentional color palette that could be used cross-platform.

I mirrored the logo’s rounded style by implementing circular shapes and rounded edges across site elements — only broken up by the occasional straight edge. To add some personality into the hero section, I used CSS to animate the header shapes. This added a layer of fluid motion that captures the user’s attention the moment the page loads.
